Abstract

[1]  The present work tells about the author’s views regarding the two subjects. The first subject v the emergence of the new epochs in the Earth sciences, namely the epochs of geophysics and geoinformatics (previously there were two epochs in the Earth sciences — the epoch of geography and the epoch of geology). The second subject — the formation of the principally new theory of potential fields interpretation (gravitational and magnetic anomalies).
